For many in the Philadelphia area and across the country, Jim Moran was the face of PhilaPOSH, and for good reason. Jim has been with PhilaPOSH since we began in 1975, and worked as our executive director for 30 years. Before, during, and after those 30 years, Jim’s uncompromising dedication to trade unionism and health and safety made an unforgettable mark on those who knew him.
Jim’s passing is a blow to PhilaPOSH and the entire health and safety movement, but we’re honored to continue to his work and carry on his legacy.
